1. Trip Planning & Power Estimation
Assess power needs – Lights, fridge, camera, phone, laptop
Calculate daily usage (Wh) – Add expected watt-hours/day
Check weather forecast – Ensure good sunlight for charging
Verify campsite rules – Solar allowed, no gas required, etc.
2. Packing Checklist
Solar generator (battery) – Jackery, Bluetti, EcoFlow, etc.
Solar panel(s) – Foldable 60–200W panel(s)
Extension cables – MC4 or proprietary (10–20 ft)
Adapters & cords – USB-C, DC barrel, AC inverter plug
Protective case / carry bag – For panel and station
3. Camp Setup
Place solar panel facing sun – South-facing tilt ~30–45°
Connect panel to battery station – Secure cables and test charging
Check input/output on display – Confirm panel is working
Protect from moisture or rain – Place under awning or tarp
4. Daily Power Usage
Use only essential devices – Prioritize phone, light, camera
Charge during peak sun – 10AM to 3PM preferred
Avoid over-draining battery – Keep ≥20% for emergencies
Use DC or USB ports first – More efficient than AC inverter
5. End-of-Trip & Maintenance
Full recharge before storage – Extend battery life
